My client, RATP Dev, a subsidiary of the RATP Group, ensures the operation and maintenance of urban and interurban transport networks in 12 countries through over 110 subsidiaries. Since 2014, RATP Dev has developed hop-on hop-off sightseeing services with open top double-deckers in the most attractive cities in the world. The Business Line now includes 5 subsidiaries distributed in France, Great Britain and soon in Belgium and partnerships developed in ten cities in Europe.

RD Brussels, company created in 2020, will launch new 'open-top bus sightseeing tours' early 2021 in the Belgium capital. Therefore they are currently recruiting the management team to start the business! Operating up to 10 vehicles daily in the peak season, 365 days per year, RD Belgium will employs up to 40 staff in the summer months.

Function information

Reporting directly to the General Manager in Belgium, (with a dotted line to the Marketing Director of the Business Line in Paris), the Sales and Marketing Manager directly supervises 1 assistant and will be in charge of the implementation of the sales and marketing strategy in Belgium.

In this role you will be responsible for the development of the revenue and the margin through the management of all sales channels and the implementation of the marketing plan.

  • You implement the sales policy for all BtoB and BtoC local channels. You will be in charge of implementing local partnership with other touristic companies or with Belgian tourism market institutions.
  • You will be in charge of business development linked to privatization of buses and private events. (stakeholders: schools, museums, hotels,...)
  • You implement and monitor sales reporting and KPI's.
  • You support the launch and promotion of their products for tourists and follow up the implementation of the marketing plan every year.
  • You promote the brand of the company locally.
  • You will work very closely with the business unit to monitor / implement digital sales and digital campaigns.
  • You are in charge to deploy their customer service policy locally and to train the team of bus drivers.


  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Sales Management, Sales Operations or Marketing Management
  • You're fluent in English, Dutch and French
  • Knowledge of the tourism industry
  • Preferably living near Brussels
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Experienced in (Digital) Marketing
  • Consultative selling skills and commercial understanding
  • You will need to have customer and market insight as well as negotiation skills
  • Leadership experience - coaching a team
  • Innovative and creative spirit
  • Intellectual ability and critical thinking


  • Gross salary max. 70K + 15% bonus + Company car
  • Fulltime position - permanent contract
