Professional Regulatory Associate NQ-2pqe

  • Category
    Legal - Private Practice
  • Location
    London, Greater London
  • External Reference

My client, a London based law firm with strong international relationships and a tier 1 ranked professional discipline and regulatory practice, has an active need at the NQ-2pqe level for an associate to join their practice. The role can be based in either Bristol, Leeds or London and applications from those in any of those locations (or even further afield) are welcome.

The firm boasts an impressive roster of clients including but not limited to central and local government, NHS organisations, organisations in the education sector, and private health and social care providers. The focus of the role will be on professional disciplinary work and this will be primarily geared towards the education sector but there will also be further opportunity to gain exposure to other sectors that the group focus on as well. The new joiner will be acting for regulators in investigating alleged professional misconduct, preparing for disciplinary hearings and will be comfortable with the oral presentation of prosecution cases in front of a range of regulatory panels. Although prior experience in professional disciplinary work is an advantage this is not an absolute requirement for the position. Applications from barristers that have transferable skills within the area are also welcome.

The firm in question offers the chance to join an outstanding practice in the professional discipline sphere, work in a large team that is nationally recognised as leading within the area and offers a competitive salary package. The PQE mentioned is only a guide. Anyone with the necessary skills to succeed may apply.
