Badenoch and Clark are exclusively recruiting for a qualified Financial Controller for a rapidly growing SME that has seen an exceptional period of growth. With excellent prospects to further develop into a Finance Director role as the company continues to grow, this would suit a driven individual who is looking to progress their career.

Working as part of the senior management team and reporting directly into the Managing Director this is a hands on role that will oversee the day to day activities of the finance team. You will take will take direct responsibility for managing the transactional and processing aspects of finance and will have responsibility to provide support on all commercial finance matters.

Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of month end management accounts
*Cashflow & treasury management
*Manage the year end process and relationship with the external auditors in terms of preparing the annual report & accounts.
*Act as Company Secretary as required.
*Play a lead role in the specification, implementation and improvement of new financial systems and processes.
*Lead the annual planning and forecasting processes adapting to business needs as appropriate.
*Support the commercial finance aspects of the business, evaluating financial impacts of activities and initiatives.
*Working with the MD build relationship management with banks for current and future business requirements.
*Leadership of a new and developing team


Key skills
*Educated with relevant degree or equivalent
*Fully qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
*Demonstrated financial control and management reporting experience.
*Proven management / supervisory experience and experience of managing a small finance team.
*Exposure & involvement with commercial finance aspects of businesses, assisting financial decision making.
*Operated at a senior level demonstrated partner to Managing Director and senior management team
*Experience of system implementation and development / process improvement
