My client is a global publishing brand with a product range targeted at global corporate businesses. Currently they wish to appoint a senior 'Digital Strategy Lead' to help with their plans to digitise traditional print publications into digitally accessible, subscription based products.

A summary of the core deliverables of this post include;
- Working with senior management team to create and agree an enterprise level 'product digitisation strategy';
- To 'road map' how the strategy will be delivered;
- Create a business case for the digitisation strategy and achieve agreement from the senior management team;
- Manage the expectations of a senior 'Steering Group';
- Engage with and manage the core deliverables of a 'Working Group' (those a level down who will carry out the doing phases of the strategy);
- Work proactively with senior staff to re-engineer digital workflow processes.

This position will also entail working closely with a diverse team of digital specialists including for example, Content Architects, Workflow Analysts, UI/UX specialists, Enterprise Architects, Project/Programme Managers and Business/Change Managers.

The successful candidate will ideally have worked in the publishing sector for a number of years, or alternatively for organisations that are big users of digital content (e.g. new agencies, broadcasters etc). This post is applicable to 'programme management level' capabilities and to candidates who are 'strategic' in their approach especially during the early stage 'road mapping' phases of the post.

The character, personality and soft skill behaviours for this post will be of primary importance; through your experience to date candidates will need to be able to manage key stakeholder expectations, influence senior management opinion and secure all round agreement on best options for the digital strategy. Overall your CV should demonstrate deep experience of all things digital and content focused and a keen interest in digital change strategy at a corporate level.

This post is intended to start in September, once the correct candidate has been identified. The day rate displayed on the advert is a suggestion and accurate to the clients indicated budget, but is not set in stone.
