A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Caretaker to join one of Badenoch and Clark's largest and most improved Housing Association clients in a permanent post.

Based in South Acton in the borough of Ealing in West London, the post holder will be involved in maintaining communal areas within the blocks and on estates, carrying out communal cleaning and small maintenance repairs as well as grounds maintenance work.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and the successful candidate will be expected to have knowledge of/experience in:

* Carrying out a variety of small repair jobs and working effectively as part of a team and under own initiative.
* Trade skills, Gardening or DIY.
* Raising repair orders.
* A good standard of literacy and IT skills (as you will be required to use a PC at times undertaking online courses and assessments. However this can be learnt on the job during the probationary period).

The role is paying a competitive starting salary of £20,500 per annum. A recognised City & Guilds or Bics qualification in cleaning would be ideal but not essential as training would be provided. A car driver is not required for this role.
