A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a large public sector organisation based in Milton Keynes who are currently looking for an individual on a part time permanent basis to work in a fast paced organisation as a Buyer to report to the Procurement Manager. The successful candidate will have the following:

- Be studying towards the diploma in purchasing and supply or equivalent/relevant job related experience
- Have experience of working with staff at all levels to develop project sourcing strategies for key areas of spend
- A broad procurement experience ideally gained in the public sector
- Experience of reviewing, drafting and negotiation of commercial contractual documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have experience of working with staff at all levels to develop project sourcing strategies for key areas of spend

The role on offer is for 18.5 hours per week and has a pro rata salary of £33,199 - £39,609 depending on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will be entitled to 33 days annual leave pro rata and entitled to 3 days off while the organisation is closed during over Christmas.
