Our client, a global player located in Brussels, is looking for a Country Manager Benelux to lead the operational function to deliver service excellence to their customers, which effectively leading and developing employees to promote a high-performing culture. This role will source, research and secure new clients, expand the service offering to existing clients, and ensure the quality of service to consistently exceed customer expectations.


This position reports to the VP of International Operations

Function information

Manage the day to day operations and employees within Benelux

Drive and train productivity to achieve company standards

Prioritize customer service and clients expectations

Research the market to source new clients and manage the portfolio to develop new contracts

Develop high performing teams that deliver service excellence to agreed standards

Manage the learning and development of all employees, including succession planning for future leaders ·

Manage profit and loss, control operating costs and sales margin

Scheduling of client events and resource to meet agreed standards

Work with senior managers to determine future strategy and assist in making today’s decisions

Drive the process of continuous improvement in all aspects of the business

To implement, monitor and maintain a professional and effective administrative resource within the region


Extensive senior management experience in an operational and / or commercial environment

Fluent in English, Dutch and French (at least good conversational level)

Strong understanding and experience of managing profit and loss

Effective account management and customer service experience

Ability to respond and react rapidly and effectively to customer needs

Strong people and team management skills with a proven track record of recruiting, hiring and developing a cadre of talent for future potential

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proven track record of motivating employees and driving results

Excellent organisational skills with proven problem solving and decision making skills

Experience of devising and implementing control systems Successful management of remote teams, focusing on profitability and delivering on specific KPI’s

Previous experience in people management

Experience of managing organisational policies and procedures

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders including senior managers
