At GN Audio in Ballerup, we have cross-functional hardware engineering and product concepting teams. We are dedicated to developing and designing state-of-the-art Jabra headsets, speakerphones and other hands-free audio solutions that make life sound better.

Join our hardware engineering team...

... and take responsibility for evaluation of complex and advanced AV chipset architectures around either our Bluetooth, DECT, USB or Video collaboration platforms, depending on your background and experience. As an Electronics Engineer Architect, you are dedicated on new chipset requirements and may be involved in all stages from technology supplier interactions to technology exploration with a key focus on the important parameters on the RF system and how to verify them.

Your tasks include:

  • Exploration of new and relevant in-market technologies
  • Identifying technologies or solutions required to meet new experience targets
  • Interacting with silicon technology providers on specifications and requirements
  • Carrying out early technical feasibility studies and identifying co-existence issues across technologies
  • Maturing building blocks and adding to our platforms (reference designs)
  • Handover support to the concepting function

Collaborate with our cross-functional concept design team

Whilst working together with the Hardware Engineering team, you can also support our Concept Design team comprised of 10 individuals from varying disciplines. Together, we work on concept exploration for headsets, speakerphones and other hands-free audio products, all representing exciting challenges due to size constraints and need for mobility.

With your proactive and creative mindset, you enjoy developing new products and at the same time explore and try out new opportunities and concepts as you work in projects. You are highly self-driven, organized, and strive to follow projects all the way through from idea to production. You are furthermore collaborative and enjoy communicating with your colleagues, leaders and stakeholders in an intercultural environment, ensuring that everyone is well-informed on current and future projects. English is required, and Danish or another Nordic language is an advantage.

If you are our EE Architect, you bring:
  • A degree in electronics engineering with a strong and relevant hands-on experience background
  • Ideally you have a broad Electronic Engineering Architect background with a good understanding of the relevant supplier base and ability to interact proactively, preferably with general knowledge of RF.
If you are our RF System Design Engineer, you bring:
  • Hands on RF System Design experience with solid wireless chip architecture understanding and good understanding of the relevant supplier base and ability to interact proactively, preferably with knowledge of WLAN RF.
You both bring:
  • Solid knowledge of product development including concepting, design, modelling, simulation, verification, test methodologies, analysis and problem-solving of cross-functional issues
  • A strong holistic system understanding
  • Deep interest in technology with an open mindset for trying out new and sometimes untraditional methods
  • Can do attitude and creativity finding new ways of working and solving an issue.
  • Understanding of the importance of teamwork, genuine interest for other disciplines work challenges – especially mechanics, audio and ux
  • Product development flow understanding linking to what tech studies will and can be used for.
