BMW Team lead sales operations Norway, has a central and important role.  You will be responsible for maintaining optimal flow in incoming and outgoing logistics of cars to the dealers. You will handle car orders into BMW Norway from BMW AG. Furthermore, you will analyze trends and sales performance to further optimize BMW. We are looking for a candidate who remains self-possessed and precise during a hectic workday. You need to be agile and have good financial understanding. Key accountabilities of the function :

  • Conduct sales analyses and trend monitoring for new and used cars.
  • Ensuring turnover of pool and press cars, including activating and selling demonstrators and company cars. Invoice posting and client management from dealers.
  • Initiate and implement cost saving measures through optimizing refurbishment processes, reduction of damages, toll road invoices etc.
We need you to:
  • Be responsible for ensuring robust and optimized sales operations in Norway by managing and remarketing fleet team, stock and production volume, logistics and government contact.
  • Be in charge of defining compliant and robust loan / sales practices of ex own use vehicles.
  • Act as local contact point for authorities and governmental agencies regarding WLTP, registration dispensations, documents, legislation and so forth.
  • Lead on financial reporting and asset management.

Pre-requisites for the role:

  • University degree. Preferably within economics or logistics at a master’s degree level.
  • Preferably previous experience within automotive sales/logistic operations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in both English and Norwegian.
  • Good vehicle product market knowledge.
  • Advanced user in the MS office suite with focus on Excel.
  • A structured way of working with good commercial knowledge.
