Peterson Packaging AS is one of the leading packaging suppliers in the Nordic region with a turnover of 1.6 mrd from our factories in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Peterson Packaging develops and manufactures corrugated cardboard packaging, and is the market leader in corrugated cardboard packaging in Norway. Peterson Packaging is part of the VPK Packaging Group, an international paper and packaging company with headquarters in Belgium. The company has 65 production and sales outlets in 20 countries and employs more than 6 100 workers. 2018 VPK Packaging Group had a turnover of 1.35 mill EURO

Our HR Manager will play an important part in both strategic and organizational development of Scandinavia’s HR systems, procedures and policies - ensuring a joint handling across the borders and our factories in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. In addition the HR Manager will provide HR leadership, expertise and consulting to business managers in order to maximize organization effectiveness and growth.

The person we are looking for has an excellent business understanding, strong commercial skills and a proactive attitude. It is vital for us that you have good communication and coaching skills, and that you are a people person. We further believe you are future-oriented and constantly looking for improvements and best practice.

The position reports directly to the Company's Nordic CEO.

Work tasks

  • Provide strategic advice to management on people, culture, and organizational development
  • Work with Talent Acquisition both in attracting new talents as well as recognizing and build Petersons internal talent pool in Scandinavia
  • Provide effective employee relations and a positive working climate, closely working with union representatives, line management as well as top-management
  • Drive and facilitate leadership development initiatives
  • Support managers and internal stakeholders in recruitment processes

Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelor or master degree
  • 5 years’ experience with similar tasks, including the Norwegian labor law
  • Experience from a production environment
  • Fluent English and Norwegian, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of Swedish and Danish regulations would be considered an advantage
