This is an interesting opportunity to join an interesting FinTech player.


As Sales Team Lead for Italy, you will be an integral part of the Sales team as you contribute to the expansion of the company in the Italian market. Under the responsibility of the Head of Sales Italy & Spain, you will participate in the definition & execution of our commercial strategy.

This role is based in Milan where the company expects to see you often, however they are open to you working remotely regularly.

You will:

  • Build a commercial strategy to contract with Enterprise-level account (>€10M online) and some mid-level accounts on defined verticals
  • Manage & develop a team of 10 people that will grow fast, you will need to recruit & build the right team to meet the Italian market objectives
  • Monitor the KPIs of your team, improve processes & tools (CRM & others)
  • Define the actions to retain and develop the turnover of existing customers


Must have

  • A minimum of 5y of experience in B2B Sales in a senior role
  • Ecommerce experience
  • You’ve already managed a team: this means performance management, hiring, firing, coaching and training
  • A track record of using & improving a CRM to drive performance (e.g. Hubspot, SalesForce, Pipedrive)
  • Fluent Italian and English, this is senior role so you’ll be interacting in English every day with people inside the company

  • You’ve previously worked in a startup/scaleup environment
  • You’ve worked in a FinTech
  • Strong leadership and management skills, managing the team means setting the bar high on performance whilst ensuring people stay engaged
  • Data-driven and organised, you like things to run like an engine
  • You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written): you are able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas
  • You’re a self-starter, autonomous & proactive: we’re looking for someone who will go and get things done, not wait for instructions
