Opportunity

This is an interesting opportunity to join a fashion tech company, operating primarily in the digital space.

Responsibilities

The Content Manager will collaborate with a growing team focused on the brand positioning as the point of reference for Fashion & Luxury brands wishing to turn their physical products into digital touchpoints with the purpose of:

  • generating consumer engagement and trust
  • attracting consumers through authentication
  • delivering contents and services that support the Brand’s storytelling, whatever the strategic focus (e.g. sustainability, circularity, resale, authenticity, engagement…)

You will be responsible for defining the company’s editorial plan and for conceptualizing, developing, writing and producing compelling communications that are aligned with the brand guidelines and resonate with a global audience, whatever the channel or touchpoint.

You will make sure that our communication is of the highest quality and consistent across all channels and touchpoints:

  • website
  • in-app user experience
  • system emails
  • sales and marketing materials
  • reports / manuals / client-facing operational documents
  • whitepapers, newsletters, social media
  • events

You will respond to the Head of Sales & Marketing and work in cooperation with the Marketing Manager to define the editorial plan to feed the advertising plan and support the sales objectives. You will also define and manage company’s events agenda and you will take care of organization and materials production.

The organization works with a renowned PR agency which will receive selected content from you and and distribute it to the local and international press, with a view to generating press coverage and interview opportunities.

Ideally, the editorial plan includes the periodical production of:

  • Whitepapers / ebooks combining insights collected through the service, overviews of market trends in the industry of reference (Fashion and Luxury) and technological advancements driving digital transformation in Fashion (bi-monthly)
  • Blog posts / short articles commenting trends, issues and news affecting our industry (monthly)
  • Newsletters highlighting insights derived from data or promoting content available for download (monthly)
  • Press releases (when needed)

You will support Product Development by providing content / advice for:

  • System emails and service communications to consumers
  • The UI of the company’s mobile app

You will review advertising materials and provide advice on copywriting.

You will work in partnership with your marketing colleagues and Business Intelligence / analysis experts, who will provide you with data and insights that will inspire content production.

Requirements

  • Leading efforts in implementing the brand's tone of voice across all marketing channels
  • Assisting multiple areas of the organization in developing and improving communication materials
  • Full understanding of the social ecosystem and the role of content to address the customer needs across digital brand touchpoints
  • Proven thought expertise within the social and content field – blogs, articles, quotes, interviews etc
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong, senior relationships with PR  and partner stakeholders
  • Experience in event management
  • Capability to analyse available data, turn them into valuable insights, create a powerful storytelling and deliver well-written content accordingly
  • Teamwork, flexibility, accountability and an obsession for meeting deadlines

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional knowledge of grammar and a good understanding of communication psychology principles
  • Passion for words and creative thinking
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Italian (preferably English mother-tongue with fluent Italian)
  • 7+ years of experience as a copywriter/editor/journalist or experience in content & communication marketing in a top-tier digital agency or Fashion company
  • Experience in writing long-form content for blogs and websites
  • Good understanding of online content strategy, and preferably a knowledge of SEM
  • Ability to self-prioritize work streams and meet tight deadlines
  • Tech savvy
  • Ability to quickly master new tools and platforms
  • Problem-solving and ability to deliver high-quality outputs consistently
Location: Milan (Italy) with the possibility of working from home for up to 3 days/week Area: Sales & Marketing
