You will be responsible for local accounting activities (LUX GAAP reporting) working closely with Treasury Manager and Accounting Team.

Responsibilities:

You will be taking care of LUX GAAP reporting for the entity and performing treasury operations such as cash pooling, intercompany clearing and FEX hedging.

  • Preparation of Monthly and Yearly statutory accounts under LUX GAAP
  • Reconciliation between US GAAP and LUX GAAP 
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Managing intercompany balances 
  • Maintaining a strong control environment, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies
  • Assisting in projects such as global cash management
  • Performing basic treasury tasks as a backup for the treasury manager
  • Support with audit and documentation request
  • Creating a real partnership with other departments and external auditors across the globe

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting or audit
  • At least 5 years of experience with LUX GAAP and US GAAP or IFRS: capability of independent bookkeeping in LUX GAAP and knowledge in US GAAP
  • Understand treasury operations (cash pooling, hedging)
  • Understanding treasury management systems (Quantum) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English, French or German is a plus
  • Ability to work with ERP Systems (Oracle Cloud is a plus)
