Responsibilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the customer and proactively evaluate all of their needs, including those that go beyond commercial considerations, and identify new opportunities with both current and potential clients.
  • Manage the process of obtaining customer requests for quotes and pricing information, working closely with relevant departments to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and present analyses on pricing, profitability, and market competitiveness to customers.
  • Secure new business awards and drive long-term growth.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and devise, propose, and implement solutions to improve results, as directed by the Sales Director.

Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration with professional technical sales experience is strongly preferred
  • A proven track record of successfully acquiring and retaining customers within a market-driven organization in the German OEM market is necessary.
  • An in-depth understanding of the processes and practices of the automotive industry, including quality control, contract terms, logistics, engineering changes, research and development, etc. is required.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and analytical skills are essential.
  • A high level of interest in technical sales, a competitive spirit, a business-focused mindset, and a drive to achieve goals 
  • Fully fluent in written and spoken English, German and/or French language skills is considered a distinct advantage
