Client Description:

This is a great opportunity to join a large family-run organisation in the packaging industry. Our client is experiencing strong organic growth and is currently expanding its US and European operations.

In this role, you have the unique opportunity to work closely with existing clients in France whilst prospecting new leads. A recognised brand, our client is a reliable and stable company, providing the necessary support and environment for you to strive in your role as Key Account Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an existing portfolio of key accounts and develop an action plan to expand portfolio
  • Support the European Key Account Management team
  • Customer mapping and prospecting
  • Work closely with the production team to analyse and improve where necessary, the manufacturing process to meet and exceed client requirements
  • Support clients in optimisation of Operational Master Plan
  • Analyse sales, margin
  • Support induction training of new account team members as needed
  • Keep up to date with innovations and propose new ideas and solutions
  • Commercial and contract negotiations
  • Lead the price renewal process
  • Further strengthen the brand identity and develop the value proposition for the portfolio

Candidate Profile:

  • At least a first experience in sales management in the packaging or related industries
  • Experience in b2b sales
  • Confident in the use of MS Office package
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Travel will be required
  • Languages: French and English – Italian, German or Spanish will be considered as a distinct advantage
