From Badenoch +Clark, we are searching and selecting a EMEA category procurement manager_IT and Digital Category to join a multinational enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Regional Procurement of IT and Digital category in EMEA
- Define needs and capabilities for the sub category by working closely with internal clients in IT, especially the IT Heads of Business, IT Supplier Management team and the Procurement network.
- In conjunction with the IT Supplier Manager, develop and manage relationships with key suppliers.
- Developing and executing strategies to incorporate the most efficient use of the various buying channels, ensuring compliance with procurement processes, use of best practice approach regarding e-tendering, Supplier Relationship Management, and contract management
- Leading major IT negotiations and contracting
- Identifying and sharing best practices
- Delivering market insight and knowledge to the sub category including market scanning and new supplier identification
- Be an Ambassador of the Procurement organization (internal and external)
- Ownership verification and agreement of actual financial performance of the Sub-Category, including agreement and verification of savings delivery, budget & forecast data.
Qualifications:
Relevant Experience
- Strong procurement experience, >5 years IT category experience
- Deep knowledge in developing category strategies and leading their implementation
- Proven record of success in negotiations with suppliers
- Good knowledge of best practice purchasing procedures and processed
- Knowledge of the industry trends and best practice
- Leadership of complex sourcing projects
- Deep knowledge of the relevant supply markets and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers
Education
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- MBA, CIPS preferred
Languages
Full proficient level in English and Spanish
