This is a great opportunity to join an established and human-size custodian bank with a very positive relationship with the regulator in Luxembourg. Reporting to the head of legal and compliance, you will support him with the management of every compliance, regulatory and AML topic applicable in Luxembourg.  

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Directors and Head of Department on compliance and legal matters
  • Anticipate and beware of compliance risks threatening the bank 
  • Monitor the new laws and regulations that could impact the business, reacting accordingly by updating existing processes or creating new ones
  • Carry out regular compliance checks and controls
  • Support the TA department by providing training and advisory services on compliance-related matters such as bank governance, AML/CTF, MIFID, FATCA/CRS, QI, …
  • Manage the internal records and communication with the regulators
  • Actively participate in various projects involving the implementation of new regulations, liaising with external advisors when required

Candidate Profile:

  • Legal or university degree with a first successful experience of minimum 5 years in compliance
  • Strong expertise in TA and Depositary Services, AML, and compliance matters
  • Solid knowledge of the various regulations and European laws impacting the funds and the banking industry in Luxembourg (Ucits/AIFM, Fatca, CRS, GDPR, …)
  • Proven skills in KYC DDs from partners as well as designing, planning, and leading KYC audits of the bank’s business partners.
