Client Description:

Our client is the authorised alternative investment fund manager offering a stable and healthy environment. The overall mission is to coordinate the implementation, management and reporting of the permanent control system in all its components. The OPC Compliance participates as 1st line of defense, in the respect of compliance measures regarding anti-money laundering, the fight against corruption, financial security and international sanctions.

Responsibilities:

  • Risk Mapping: The objective is to ensure that the risk mapping in the Luxembourg office is available to everyone, up-to-date and in line with the Company Business Line
  • Procedure design: One part of the work to be done is to help the operational teams to design/write/update the local Company procedures with the operational teams, as they have to take ownership of the process part of their day-to-day
  • OPC testing: On a quarterly basis, perform the OPC testing
  • Compliance controls: Carrying out the controls required by compliance on the exercise for the 1st Line of Defense regarding financial security, professional ethics, protection of customers
  • Reporting Compliance controls: Consolidation of the results of compliance controls and preparation of reports for the direction and the Group
  • Operational Incident Report
  • Preparation of the Internal Control Committees
  • OPC ad-hoc request

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in business or finance
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in permanent control and compliance
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive and constructive spirit with a desire to find controlled solutions
