Our client manages Infrastructure and Real Assets, where they manage funding and capital of the group. As an IT Technical Support Analyst, you will provide wide ranging support (1st to 3rd line) across technology and telephony to two local offices, in a fast-paced environment. This will include supporting a wide range of platforms and desktop applications as well as planned project activities and unplanned incident resolution. You be the sole technical support in Luxembourg and will report to the IT Director from the UK office.

Function information

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support/solutions for all technology equipment (Virtual and physical desktop computers, laptop, Mac, Printer, Video Conference)
  • Desktop/laptop hardware and Apple products (iPhones and iPads)
  • Good understanding of applications architecture and troubleshooting
  • Support enterprise Windows infrastructure
  • Set-up and configure new systems and hardware upgrades
  • Maintain current environments and software policies
  • Ensure high quality of service support to the end-users

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT
  • Proven experience in similar technical support roles
  • Excellent knowledge of: Windows, MS Office 365, Active Directory, SCCM Server, File- and Print-Server, Citrix, Clusters, Virtualization, LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, WiFi, VoIP, IP, netstat, gpresult, dig, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, standard ports
  • Knowledge of Monitoring Tools for support (and development) and Basic Unix and Linux is a plus
  • Reliable, autonomous and customer-centric focused
  • Fluent in English; other European languages is a nice plus
