Investment Analyst - Family Office

Client Description:

Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the owner of this company and the treasury manager, you will be offered to monitor the existing portfolio of investments but also to assess and/or suggest investments and support the family with your critical financial analyst eyes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and evaluating the performances and the profitability of the assets under management
• Preparing operating reports and monthly management reports, applying different financial evaluation methods (such as IRRs, NPVs, WACCs, etc.) related to the valuation and performance of the assets under management
• Developing/analysing current and past financial data and performance making comparative analyses, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management
• Developing a financial market research by industry and geography providing trend analysis to investor managers
• Organising a structured database on financial markets, monetary policies, segment industry.
• Maintaining relationships with bank/funds portfolio managers, investor relators, bank financial analyst, info providers
• Providing support with analysis to maximize the total MOIC and IRR of the portfolio.
• Supporting the Investment Team to maintain effective internal controls providing, when required, assistance in evaluating investment opportunities
• Reporting to the Management key facts.

Candidate Profile:

• University degree completed with a first successful experience of 7-10 years in financial analysis.
• Currently working with a family office, an investment fund’s structure, or a wealth manager.
• Solid knowledge of the funds industry in Luxembourg.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, charismatic and diplomat.
