Job | Fresh Fish Specialist - Sales | Badenoch + Clark



Our client, a leading commercial company, is currently seeking an accomplished Fresh Fish Sales Representative to join the team.

The Sales representative will be directly in charge of the management and animation of a specific region. The scope of action is focused on BeNeLux and other different European markets. The person will have to create a business through prospection, organise logistics and market the Group's various product ranges.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a motivated, committed and experienced fresh fish expert with strong business and financial acumen; and a large network.

Function information

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper deployment of trade policy and the achievement of objectives.
  • Target, contact and prospect new potential customers (Supermarket chains, Cash & Carry, Wholesalers, etc.).
  • Interact with related services (production, quality, marketing) to optimize flows and develop sales.
  • Ensure the operational financial follow-up of the business from opening of customer accounts to the collection of invoices.
  • Monitor, manage commercial partnerships and various indicators, turnover, service rate, volume, and margin.
  • Ensure the administrative management of its own actions: order entry, customer follow-up and management of conflicts.
  • Organise and optimize upstream logistics.
  • Implement new product ranges proposed by the group.
  • Additional activities


Your Profile

  • 10+ years of work experience in Fresh Fish Industry.
  • Good knowledge of local market and has a large network.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and ERP software skills.
  • Strong communication skills, proficiency in English and any other language is a strong asset.
  • Results-driven, discipline, customer focused, autonomous, flexible, well-organised.
