Financial Modeling Assistant – Alternative Investments

Introduction

This is a great opportunity to join independent management company specialised in alternative investments.

Ideal candidate is expected to have a prior experience in financial modelling/valuation for private companies.

In this cross-function you will be working in a dynamic work environment, actively involved in new acquisitions while closely collaborating with investment team. A successful candidate will be reporting to Head of Valuation and responsible of valuations, modelling, financial risk, and NAV monitoring.

Function information

Your Responsibilities:

• Together with the investment team and independent experts you will be responsible on valuation of the investments held by the funds;
• Actively involved in new projects on setting up and newly acquired investments by reviewing the financial models;
• Updating fund models, including preparation of consolidated key performance metrics;
• Supporting in the determination of the risk profile of each investment and of each fund managed;
• Preparing financial communication and reporting on the investments, notably for the Executive Committee, fund’s LPs and Board of Directors;
• Monitoring the evolution of the Net Asset Value of the funds based on the Investment Portfolio’s performance.

Requirements

Your profile:

• Strong academic record from a Business or Engineering School. CFA / CAIA is a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in Financial Advisory, Investment Management or Financial Risk Management
• Prior experience in financial modelling/valuation for private companies is needed
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Strong quantitative / analytical skills
• Fluency in English French is a strong plus
• Strong focus on detail, hard working and motivated deliver high quality products
• Ability to track deliverables in a dynamic environment
