Introduction

You will drive the sales process from identification of key prospects, the origination of opportunities through to execution of the sales strategy and closing deals.

You will be expected to have an in-depth product knowledge of the Private Market product set and a working knowledge of the entire asset servicing and global offering to present comprehensive and compelling solutions to clients.

The focus for this role will be the private equity, debt, infrastructure and real estate segment within EMEA.

You will be offered to work for a major global market player at director level, to be actively involved in the strategy of development and be given a lot of autonomy.

Function information

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop together with the head of EMEA a sales strategy for the sales team
  • Establish guiding principles and standard procedures to ensure consistency of approach across the team
  • Review and approve deal structures ensuring optimal terms for both the client and the firm, mitigating risk where necessary and ensuring deals are compliant with all regulations
  • Develop the key metrics and sales analysis to ensure the success of the team
  • Recruit, mentor and develop for your team
  • Identify key prospects within a given territory, network within industry bodies to further promote the brand, coordinate internal knowledge with relevant people
  • Provide the competitive strategy and executive ownership of the deal

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Experience in the private equity, debt and real estate industry, with a proven track record within a securities servicing organisation in successfully growing revenues
  • In-depth knowledge in Private Markets segment
  • Detailed knowledge of all regulatory, environment and industry related issues which impact the financial services sector
  • Advanced negotiation skills required to close complex transactions
  • Strategic-thinking, excellent communication skills and able to build relationships at top level, leadership and result-focused
