As Area Sales Manager you have the unique opportunity to work with an existing portfolio of customers and develop strong relationships with new partners.

For this exclusive opportunity, our client is looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the DACH area which can be based in DACH or Benelux or France.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales efforts for various categories 
  • Strong emphasis on structured sales planning and delivery
  • Developing relationships with existing and new clients to increase portfolio revenues
  • Closely collaborate with dealers and partners to improve operations
  • Monitor markets, trends and innovations
  • Solve customer pain points and offer solutions
  • Analyse activity and performance to increase margins
  • Up and cross sell
  • Maintaining records on area and customer sales

Candidate Profile:

  • Previous commercial experience with a business focused mindset
  • Ideally a background in the automotive or chemical industry
  • Proven experience in managing existing clients and at ease prospecting new partners
  • Flexible and dynamic with a can-do attitude
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Willing and able to travel around 60% 
  • Languages: English plus near native German, and other European Languages are considered a strong advantage
