Jan-Petter Westlie has more than 25 years’ experience as an Executive Search Advisor, combined with top management experience from major international companies such as IBM and Rank Xerox / Xerox.
He has also managed recruitment companies from 1994 until 2016, and has served on the board of directors of a leading international company; Horton Group International Ltd. For the past two years he chaired the board's work as the Chairman in a major international restructuring process.
In recent years, Westlie has focused primarily on assisting companies with recruitment to board positions, top executives and management groups, as well as other business-critical solutions.
He has also assisted companies in the early phase, often with disruptive technology, in identifying and employing particularly demanding expertise, including international searches.
Westlie has initiated a project in collaboration with Simula Garage (owned by the Ministry of Education) where he assists the companies in obtaining most experienced expertise for the board. This is done to increase the possibility of sucess for the company and is conducted free of charge for both the companies and Simula.
