Public Sector Procurement Organisation - Home Based/North East of England

A Public Sector based organisation offering Procurement Frameworks and working with other public sector members giving expert guidance is looking for a Category Manager - Estates & Construction

to join their team. The purpose of the role is to lead, manage and provide technical input into estates collaborative framework agreements and build member confidence in the organisation's estates procurement capability. The post holder will also manage capital construction frameworks and the procurement call off process and provide technical advice and guidance to project colleagues undertaking the procurements and be the key contact for the contractors appointed to the agreements. Furthermore, the post holder will also demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and ethical behaviour. This role will answer directly into the CEO. This role of high strategic importance to the organisation and the successful post holder will be responsible for establishing project plans and strategies, managing the procurement process, managing framework key performance indicators, and reporting back to the member organisations.

Who are you:

*MCIPS qualified or experienced Procurement Professional

*Demonstrable experience in Capital Build, Hard FM and Soft FM Categories

*Experienced in managing the implementation of framework capital contracts for client institutions

*Experienced in establishing Estates Contracting Programmes and leading and managing estates collaborative agreements.

*Experienced in Public Sector Procurement

*A Public Sector Procurement and Contracts legislation expert

*Experienced in being a critical friend for multiple stakeholders on numerous projects

*A confident coordinator of procurement best practice
