We are currently looking for a Communications and Marketing Specialist to join Inquilab Housing association based in West London. As the Communications & Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for managing the communications to Inquilab residents and employees. Leading on projects to support organisational strategy.

Key responsibilities:

*Lead and manage the digital communications service for the business, providing high value and effective messaging to a range of audiences, including website development and overall management of social media accounts

*Lead on customer communications, acting as main contact for key teams requiring support, ensuring high quality and consistent messaging is maintained

*Lead on resident engagement communications, supporting the aspirations for this service, ensuring delivery of effective communications and encouraging innovation in approach

*Work with the Customers and Communities team to implement and promote the channel shift initiative for customers

*Oversee the ongoing development of the residents' newsletter and manage its regular and timely production and distribution

*Write, edit and proof read key communications materials to staff and residents to ensure consistency and compliance with Inquilab's branding and values.

*Write, produce and project manage key marketing and publicity materials, ensuring innovation and creativity in approach, and compliance with Inquilab's branding and values.

*Proactively plan and generate regular positive PR coverage, generating strong leads and building relationships with key media outlets and publications. Manage incoming media requests effectively to maintain the reputation of Inquilab

*Manage and regularly update corporate and promotional content on the website and social media channels, generating original and engaging content to increase traffic and engagement to support the growth of the Inquilab brand

*Work with the Executive Team to plan and deliver effective advertising campaigns for the business to raise awareness of Inquilab to key audiences

*Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the external housing policy environment to ensure the delivery of appropriate and relevant marketing materials and advice

*Manage day to day internal communications, ensuring employees are well informed of corporate messaging, and providing high value support for the transformation and culture change programmes

*Project manage and oversee the development of the intranet, maintaining up to date, relevant, and engaging content to support employees in carrying out their work

*Manage key events for employees and customers and corporate external events

Person Specification:

*A marketing or communications qualification or equivalent experience

*Knowledge of housing associations and/or affordable housing may be an advantage

*Good understanding of media relations and how the media operates

*Excellent verbal and written communications skills

*Strong copywriting and proof reading skills

*Strong experience of working with the national, regional, online and trade media

*Good understanding of media relations and how the media operates

*Excellent knowledge of digital communications and marketing

* Ability to take a brief and translate it into high quality practicable activity

* Able to work positively with a wide variety of internal and external customers

effectively

Experience required

* Substantial experience of working in marketing, communications and PR, with

demonstrable achievements.

* Strong experience of working with the national, regional, online and trade media

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part Time 3 days a week

Salary: £47,500 pro rata

Location: Kew Bridge, West London
