Marketing and Communications Manager

£40,463 per annum with some agile, flexible working

We are working with an award-winning social care provider and housing association operating across Yorkshire and the North East to recruit a Marketing and Communications Manager for their newly re-structured business development team. If you are looking to work for an organisation with a reputation for high quality, person centred care and a rating of 'Good' or higher across 95% of their registered services then this is the organisation for you!

The successful Marketing and Communications Manager will be expected to lead on this organisations marketing strategy and manage and deliver innovative and creative internal and external marketing projects and communications on behalf of the wider company, liaising with internal stakeholders, Local Government representatives and other healthcare organisations in order to ensure the marketing and communications

This is an exciting new role and the successful post holder will manage the charity's brand identity to ensure there is a clear and recognisable brand that highlights the Organisation's strengths and supports the organisations strategy. This will include redesigning the website and its content and coordinating an approach to Social Media and how it can promote the work of the Organisation. You will work closely with the Business Development team and heads of departments and managers to ensure effective delivery of internal corporate communications.

You will also work to develop and strengthen relationships with external media contacts and establish first point of contacts while also acting as the face of the organisation within this varied and exciting role.

Applicants should be;

*Experienced in being responsible for internal and external Marketing and Communications activities

*Able to demonstrate previous work within/for a public sector organisation such as a charity or housing association or be able to evidence a working knowledge of their stakeholders

*Able to evidence responsibility of developing USP and related marketing documentation in previous positions

*Have experience of setting organisation marcoms strategy
