Portfolio Reconciliations Analyst

Role Summary

As a member of the Investment Operations team, this role requires daily collaboration with internal & external stakeholder, including operations along with external service providers (e.g., custodians, banks, investment managers) to assist in performing daily Position and cash reconciliations across client portfolios.

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:

*Perform Daily and monthly reconciliation of investment portfolios with PB/custodian banks. Focus on cash and position breaks, NAV reconciliations and OTC activities

*Investigate and resolve exceptions between internal records and various external custodians and administrators.

*Assist Senior Analysts and Investment teams in resolving any specific queries

*Liaise with external vendors and administrators on BAU requirements

*Collate and verify key data to ensure internal core data is valid and accurate

The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:

*A university graduate with a minimum of a 2nd class degree

*1- 2 years' relevant working experience in an investment management, custody or fund administration environment is preferred, but not essential

*Strong written and verbal communication skills

*Project or change management experience would be beneficial

*High degree of integrity and professionalism.

*Proficient Excel skills.

*Good knowledge of Bloomberg REC Function would be beneficial

*Knowledge of Trade Settlement and Collateral would be beneficial

*Preferred experience on portfolio and/or reconciliation and analysis tasks

*Good understanding on PnL calculations

*Good understanding of portfolio and/or Fund accounting

*Good understanding of NAV reconciliations and valuations

*Good knowledge of a range of asset classes, such as Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives

*Previous investment operations experience within a Back Office or Middle Office of Asset Management Firm or Fund Administration or Middle Office service providers

*Strong communication and analytical skills

*Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
