£32,306 - £39,027 per annum *Client discretion based on experience

*Remote Working at present - office work will then be reviewed with line manager

A new opportunity has arisen for a Knowledge Management Officer to join the organisation and get involved with overseeing the creation of policies, including the design and development of the different knowledge management frameworks.

The Role:

  • Assisting in the development of the knowledge management structure within the organisation by providing expertise, advice, support and training where necessary, enabling good knowledge management and showing best practice.
  • The Knowledge Management Officer will need a good knowledge and understanding of the Public Records Act, the Freedom of Information Act and the Data Protection Act/General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Contributing to responses to correspondence and Freedom of Information requests relating to knowledge management.
  • The role also requires sensitivity and tact when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in communicating statutory information and knowledge management regulations to all staff.

Essential:

  • Degree and/or specialist knowledge management (e.g. CILIP - Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals) knowledge or experience acquired through formal education and theoretical experience.
  • Ability to work as a team member and collaboratively with other teams
  • Excellent decisions making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Focused on continuous service improvement
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
