A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Housing Defects and Repairs Co-ordinator to join one of Badenoch & Clark's biggest growing housing clients in a temporary role for the next three months.

Based in Central London, this is a full time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) working within their Homeownership Team delivering a responsive, and pro-active customer-focused service to homeowners. You will play a key part in providing an outstanding customer service to new homeowners, assisting them with any queries post moving in.

You will be responsible for the management of defects and assisting with the aftercare service offered to residents.

Other key duties include:

*Ensuring all information provided to customers is accurate, relevant and appropriate for their needs.

*Managing defects; logging calls and booking appointments with developers.

*Sending out welcome packs to new homeowners and answering any queries on these packs.

*Answering telephone calls and responding to emails from both new homeowners and developers/contractors.

*Building an maintain effective relationships with internal and external service providers.

*Using resident feedback to identify common issues and develop plans to meet their individual and neighbourhood needs, thus improving their satisfaction levels.

*Providing technical advice and expertise on defect issues which occur within the properties and propose appropriate resolution, including challenging developer aftercare teams where matters should be dealt with by the developer.

*Co-ordinating and managing defects and ensure contractual obligations and administer such work in a spirit of mutual co-operation and trust.

*Managing a caseload of disputed, complex or 'open' defects, liaising with colleagues, residents and developer aftercare teams to progress cases, provide regular updates and bring them to a timely and satisfactory conclusion.

Our client is looking for a highly motivated self starter who is committed to good customer service for their residents. Previous experience of diagnosing repair queries within a housing organisation would be very beneficial for this post.
