Basic Function and Scope of the Position:

This position is in the Company's EMEA shared services payroll function and is responsible for the day-to-day processing. The position interacts with external payroll bureaus, all personnel levels and departments, including the senior executive team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Process Calendar monthly payrolls for EMEA employees.

Processing new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, payments, time sheet data, rate changes, adjustments and special pays.

Review payroll processes for efficiencies, policy and SOX compliance.

Complete payroll export/import processes for appropriate payrolls.

Meet all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding and employer contributions. Prepare and process tax payments.

Record stock option exercises and process through payrolls for tax reporting and payment.

Record country specific holiday, overtime and leave for payroll processing.

Make bank payments for all EMEA foreign entities and post payment journals.

Prepare and post individual EMEA country specific payroll journals.

Process new joiners and monthly payments into company pension scheme via online software.

Liaise with HR and external payroll bureaus on a daily basis.

Coordinate activities of other payroll personnel.

Maintain Omnislip online software for UK. Activating new starters and dealing with user queries.

Prepare monthly payroll returns specific to individual EMEA country requirements and legislation.

Preparation of testing documentation/data for monthly, quarterly and annual internal/external audits

Research problems and/or questions presented by employees and/or management for resolve.

Maintain Pay and Benefit analysis spreadsheets for Finance Management monthly reviews.

Assist with all annual government reporting requirements for all EMEA entities, including, but not limited to; P11d's, PSA, Stock Returns, PAYE and Social Tax returns.

Preferred Educational Background:

AAT qualified, Finance or equivalent years of experience required.

Preferred Experiential Background:

Corporate payroll experience in a publicly-traded company.

Able to work effectively in a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment and be open to change and the challenges that arise in a fast-moving environment

Good communication skills

Experience with S.A.P.(or equivalent ERP system) preferred

High attention to detail required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required.
