Job | NHS Business Analyst - North Of England - £300/£350PD | Badenoch + Clark
20 November 2020

Badenoch + Clark's NHS client in the North of England requires an information reporting focused Business Analyst for an initial four month contract. The contract is to start ASAP, will be home-based and rates are in the region of £300 - £350 per day (OUTSIDE of IR35).

Our client is engaged in a programme of work that is focused on offering improved performance reporting to clinical services using newly developed Power BI dashboards. Your role will be to act as the business conduit between the business intelligence development team and the clinical service leads to make sure that the dashboards that are developed are fit for purpose, deliver all the key reporting information required in a user friendly fashion and are rolled out effectively and used meaningfully via high quality user engagement and benefits realisation. The key tasks to support this will include:

*Meeting with clinical service leads to discuss dashboard prototypes and complete gap analysis of any missing reports or information.

*Gathering requirements for additional reporting needs, but making sure the requirements and scope agreed to are realistic in terms of Power BI's capability and the BI development resource available.

*Feeding reporting business requirements back to the development team in an effective and translated fashion that will lead to the correct technical development requirements.

*Creating Standard Operating Procedures for future dashboards' use and maintenance to make sure the newly created dashboards are appropriately bedded into the organisation and used effectively moving forwards.

In order to be considered, applicants must possess the hybrid of business analysis and business intelligence skills and understanding to complete this role effectively. You will have a strong business analysis skill set and be able to demonstrate the ability to engage key senior stakeholders, produce gap analysis and AS IS - TO BE analysis and create SOPs, but you also must possess a strong understanding of NHS reporting needs and business intelligence use - ideally with a strong enough knowledge of Power BI to understand what is capable and realistic to develop whilst discussing each dashboard's potential and capability with end users.

This is an excellent opportunity to be engaged in a highly interesting and meaningful project that will make a real difference to the quality of healthcare reporting and future care provision. Please apply now and don't miss out.
