Are you an experienced Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger Manager?

My client based in Birmingham are seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role is paying up to £45,000, but this may be negotiable for the right candidate.

The right candidate will:

  • Be experienced within an AP/PL Manager position
  • Be AAT Level 4 qualified
  • Have excellent numeracy skills
  • Have strong commercial awareness
  • Be confident in leading and motivating a team

Duties will include:

  • Managing the team and performance (including 1 to 1s, appraisals, etc.)
  • Meeting department objectives and deadlines
  • Reviewing and certifying payments and ensuring all audits are completed
  • Ensuring all year end documentation is in line with audit requests
  • Handling escalated queries
  • Reviewing processes and procedures to improve efficiency
