Badenoch + Clark are working with a renowned professional services business that is looking for an L&D specialist to join their team based in Birmingham. The overall purpose of this role is to work in conjunction with the Learning & Development team and the wider HR team (including specifically D&I) to ensure that talent and development initiatives are driving high performance and underpin the strategic objectives and business plans.

The Role:

*Co-design, planning and programme management of core development programmes.

*In conjunction with preferred and new suppliers and subject matter experts, ensure seamless and efficient programme management, coordination and delivery of a wide range of professional skills based learning and development courses, workshops and programmes.

*In consultation with appropriate stakeholders, monitor and revise the Learning Curriculum as required to ensure that it remains relevant and current.

*Work alongside the D&I team to design and deliver diversity awareness training to the business (including the HR team) and to identify and (where appropriate) implement wellbeing initiatives.

*Design and implement proactive communication plans to ensure that training and development initiatives (and projects for which the team is responsible) are communicated effectively to target populations within the business.

*Evaluate training and development programmes for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.

*Management of the learning management system.

The person:

*Experience of being in a similar professional L&D/OD advisory role

*Experience of working within a professional services environment

*A good understanding of the L&D function

*Experienced in using HR systems

*Working towards CIDP qualification or hold a certificate in Learning & Development practice

*Proven ability to communicate across all levels

*Educated to degree level or equivalent
