To position my client in Antwerp for further growth, the successful
‘Operations Manager’ that I’m looking for needs to be a highly
strategic thinker, capable of quickly assessing scenarios and translating
strategy into action plans. There’s a need to be highly flexible and
agile, constantly having to prepare for the future while retaining a sharp
focus on efficiency and managing present priorities.

You, together with your team of 25 colleagues in Belgium, will

P&L executive?
Function information
Essential Functions:
In this role you will participate as a strategic partner
to the CEO (France) to form and implement the core strategy. You will work
closely with the Group Sales Director (France) to develop a Commercial
Strategy, Pricing Policy and Business Development plan.
You will be responsible for overseeing the overall
business operations & develop new business opportunities in Belgium as this
is crucial for the growth and success for Malta Belgium.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the organization
across all functions to ensure that they run smoothly and are adequately
supported with the proper tools in place to facilitate rapid decision making
and action; determine where tension points exist between strategy and execution
and resolve in collaboration with senior leadership.
- You will identify and drive opportunities for
improvements in operational efficiency and implement new directives for growth.
- Lead, manage, develop, and hold accountable a team of 25
colleagues in Belgium. You will also be responsible for HR in terms of
hiring/recruitment, onboarding and Talent Management.
- No longer simply internally focused, you will need to
partner with sales, customer service and marketing to develop a deep
understanding of your customers’ needs. You ensure the organization can fulfill
those demands in a way that meets or exceeds customer expectations while
monetizing the delivery in a profitable and efficient way. You understand the
importance about building trust with customers & partners ensuring there
are infrastructure and back-end processes that elevate customer experience. You maintain a strong connection with
your Key Account Relationships in Belgium.
- Accountable for ensuring sales and company level
financial objectives are on track.
- You need to deliver insightful information (analyze and
interpret data and metrics) and analyses to enable valuable business decisions.
- Identify and drive opportunities for improvements in
operational efficiency and implement new directives for growth.
- Establish policies to create and promote a solid company
culture and vision.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a senior level operations leader in
Software Business Management, Software Development,… preferably in the
Healthcare / Medical Industry.
- Hands on experienced Sales & Business Development
professional.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to communicate with,
engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Motivational leader with great people skills and excellent
business acumen.
- In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and
principles (e.g. finance, customer service, HR, etc.).
- Good knowledge of data analysis, KPI’s and performance/operation
metrics.
- Technical IT – Software background (experience and/or
education)
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Familiarity with MS Office and various business software
(e.g. ERP, CRM).
- You're fluent in Dutch and French.
