Hiring a successful E-commerce Manager (scope EMEA), as the driving force behind an experienced Channel Department, is a priority for my client PDC.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and carry out the strategic online plans to develop and manage the multiple e-commerce websites, corporate websites & microsites
  • Increase online sales, leads, traffic and conversions & improve the user experience
  • Supervise the E-Commerce division & divide up employees on tasks. Your colleagues: 1 Platform Developer and 1 Content Manager.

Function information

  • Develop strategies and tactics to meet defined objectives for e-commerce performance and campaigns & to improve effectiveness
  • Determine & develop the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers
  • Implement e-marketing campaigns to increase online brand awareness and qualified sales lead generation to stimulate sales
  • Manage external vendors and agencies
  • Manage successful SEO strategy including website content and graphics, keyword lists and SEO and page tag copywriting that increases the rank of natural search engine listings.
  • Manage search engine advertising campaigns for all product lines. Plan for SEA expenditures. Maximize ROI on search engine advertising (SEA) campaign using appropriate tools & keyword selection.
  • Monitor the performance of the optimization program and consistently analyse changing opportunities and trends in search engine algorithms and keywords
  • Produce Google Web analytics and report
  • Communicate web-site updates, activities & Results/Performances to sales & marketing
  • Manage banner advertising, website directories and co-opportunities with PDC partners.
  • Supervise the E-commerce Team to help execute e-marketing campaigns, page building and website maintenance


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the management of E-Commerce & Website development.
  • Proven success in online sales development (E-commerce)
  • Proven experience with SEO (Search engine optimization) and SEA (search engine advertising) techniques
  • Excellent writing skills in English & French
  • Both B2B and B2C e-commerce experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or university degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with CMS systems (Magento) & HTML, XML & CSS
  • Experience with the following applications: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign)
