Badenoch+Clark is looking for an Export Manager who sells Food products to customers in Europe. The Export Manager research potential markets and create an export and expansion strategy for the company in Europe. The targeting countries are Germany, Switzerland, France and Luxembourg.
As an Export Manager you will define a channel sales strategy with full P&L responsibility in alignment with the CEO and Head of Sales. You will develop and implement export strategies in Germany, Switzerland, France and Luxembourg and target F1 Retail clients within these markets. You will work with important key accounts and deliver budgeted sales plans. You develop solid relationships with important retailers. Beside defining the Channel Sales Strategy within these markets, you identify growth opportunities and convert them into profitable growth within the portfolio, you prepare annual budgets and business plans for specific markets with future market development. You will work with local government export trade support departments to maximize knowledge in new markets.
The country you’re living in doesn’t matter because this role involves regular abroad business trips. the Export Manager should work in several countries: in Germany, France, Switzerland & Luxembourg. The companies headquarters is based in Belgium and it is part of an Icelandic investment group. The products that the organization supplies to its customers are very diverse. They offer 500 varieties of products. Among the customers are some of the largest retail chains in Belgium. The turnover in 2021 was approximately 92 million Euros. This makes the company the second largest food processing company in her core business in Belgium and it now employs around 100 people. This Belgian branch operates fairly autonomously and has been able to present growth figures year after year.
