Badenoch + Clark is looking for a self-assured Business Development Manager with a solid background in the pharmaceutical sector and comprehensive industry knowledge. In this role you are responsible for the expansion of the footprint of our client by leveraging existing relationships in the industry & conversion of prospects into effective opportunities in the area of Pharma & Healthcare. You will be part of and supported the Business Development department to meet your sales targets.

Function information

Key responsibilities:

+ Your main objective is to close sales leads and hit your sales target in line with the predefined Sales Strategy in order to grow the business

+ You are responsible to create and execute a Sales Strategy on your industry vertical, in line with the Business Development strategy and targets

+ You maintain relationships with relevant industry stakeholders of your vertical & constantly look to create value for the company and the potential clients

+ You will lead the negotiations and presentations within the local healthcare tenders & are responsible for closing the deals

+ With your sound understanding of Supply Chain you are able to present complex content of the specialists as well as the logistics solutions in a comprehensible and professional manner

+ You are continuously in contact with your network to define industry trends and new developments

+ You are strengthening the position of the company as thought leader in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry

+ You are focusing to develop the Belgian healthcare footprint through international client relationships

+ You will work closely with relevant internal stakeholders: Sales-colleagues, Content management, Project management, Tender management, Regional management,…


+ You have experience and thorough knowledge of the Pharmaceutical & Healthcare sector

+ An existing network within the pharmaceutical industry is a must!

+ Experience in Contract Logistics is a plus

+ Minimum of 6 years of experience

+ Excellent communication and commercial skills

+ Excellent mastery of English, both spoken and written

+ Knowledge of Dutch, German or French is an asset

+ Expanding and maintaining your professional network comes as a second nature to you
