We are looking to recruit a Quality Manager who can translate his/ her expertise into managing QMS of the whole plant. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple quality projects at once and communicating directly with the top management team globally.

Your responsibilities:

  • Establishing and managing QMS across the plant
  • Supporting the development teams along the early project stages
  • Analyzing quality projects in terms of technical efficiency and conducting quality audits
  • Setting up quality improvement methods and inspection plans in SAP
  • Participating in setting and validating major projects construction procurement strategies
  • Establishing and maintaining strong and effective working relationships with external parties

Your profile:

  • Technical university degree (Material Science or Mechanical Engineering) ideally combined with additional education in QMS
  • Minimum three years of work experience in leading international QMS projects from mechanical engineering field or global manufacturing industrial sector
  • PMI certification is of an advantage
  • Experience of working within a multi-cultural and matrix organization
  • Working knowledge of QMS tools (e.g. Six Sigma, SAP, FMEA, 8D)
  • Strong negotiation skills alongside adaptability and responsiveness to different situations
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills by anticipating and taking initiatives
  • Excellent communication in English and German both verbal and written, any other language of advantage
  • Independent and goal-oriented way of working
  • Entrepreneurial vision and positive work attitude
  • Willingness to travel on business occasionally
