As a big James Bond fan, there is many a classic one liner to love, but the above quote really rings true with a topic we’ve been thinking about a lot lately at Badenoch & Clark.
As a man who has landed in his mid-forties I am fully aware that whilst I have some 25 years working experience behind me, there’s still another 23 years (at least!) ahead of me before hitting retirement age.

Making it to the final round of an interview process and getting the feedback of not the right ‘cultural fit’ can be heart breaking. It is a tough one for us recruiters to have to relay because it raises so many questions from the candidate and rightly so.
What comes to your mind when you think of the HR professional? The CIPD would hope that you are thinking of someone being Principles-led, Evidence-based and Outcomes-driven, but is this too idealistic?
