Peter Miller has a career spanning 20 years delivering complex IT solutions to public sector clients. He is a subject matter expert in Enterprise Architecture, including definition of IT and Communications Strategies. His passion is improving the end user experience through continual service improvement and technological innovation. Peter specialises in the transition of services from traditional PFI arrangements, to multi-vendor service tower models. He has previously held advisory positions on both of the Cabinet Office’s End User Device Framework and the Service Integration and Management (SIaM) boards.
Peter is the Director for Visionist is an SME offering a full complement of services including Enterprise Architecture, Service Management Planning, Integration and Testing and Security Assurance services. Visionist has a passion for end user experience in line with Government Digital Service strategy and policy and delivering excellent value for money and continuous service improvement.
Assignements include Home Office, Border Force, MoD, Department for Energy & Climate Change (DECC), Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), Department for Education (DfE), Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
With over 25 years in the projects arena, David has unparalleled insight and expertise into complex programmes. He has had a long career of successful delivery of complex solutions, the majority of which have been to the Public sector. He has been responsible for the delivery of a number of major programmes to the justice sector through the evolution of the Lord Chancellor's Department to the Department for Constitutional Affairs and latterly to the Ministry of Justice.
David led the design and delivery of the XHIBIT programme to introduce technology to the Crown Courts in England and Wales. As part of this he was instrumental in the definition of the Criminal Justice Exchange which began the electronic sharing of information between the Crown Courts, the Crown Prosecution Service, the Prison Service, the Probation Service and other Criminal Justice Agencies.
David was also responsible for turning around the Libra programme to create an integrated Case Management solution which was subsequently rolled out to all Magistrates Courts in England and Wales. Within the Ministry of Justice, David has led the Go to Green initiative - a programme to correct a number of delivery problems that had arisen in the relationships between MoJ and one of its major suppliers, the Quantum re-compete procurement within HMPS and, for a period was the commercial and delivery lead for the Shared Services Programme.
