In this pivotal role, you will be part of the UK&I Resource Management which is recognised as an integral enabler to the growth of business.

The opportunity

The Resource Deployment Consultant is a key member of the Service Line (SL) Resource Deployment team and wider UK&I Resource Deployment network. The role encompasses the following:
*Ensure optimal Sub Service Line (SSL) demand and supply management for resource deployment within a SL
*Use knowledge of clients and their capability requirements combined with an understanding of skills and career aspirations of individuals to make resourcing decisions
*Manage the bench/capacity and identify creative opportunities to optimise productivity and profitability for the SSL/SL
*Act as the first point of contact for resourcing conflicts and issues, escalating to the Resource Deployment Manager as per protocols
Reports to the Resource Deployment Manager
Your key responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

Drive and manage resourcing deployment by analysing and take actions on the sub service line resourcing performance to the Resource deployment manager along with the weekly review of prior weeks performance using CoE analytics, track productivity targets with the SSL teams to drive performance.

Manage supply and demand within the scheduled projects and also deal with shortages and complexities of demand request and source wider resourcing solutions to address fungible shortages and capacity as well as manage day to day resourcing escalations and issues

Deliver experience management, which will include understand client handler skills and career aspirations along with maintaining the skills data base. Ensure under performers are given access to appropriate skill experience and to make sure all new joiners are allocated onto chargeable work.

You will participate in the resource management team meetings and performance development requirements and training to develop the function.

Key attributes for the successful candidate in this role will include the ability to demonstrate business insight to make effective resourcing decisions E.G Right capabilities, skill mix, logistics to optimise performance of productivity and profitability, along with the ability to think quickly, work under pressure to meet competing demands, you will need to be confident and resilient to deal with challenges from people within the business regarding conflicting projects and have the ability to exercise good judgement.
Ideally you will come from a professional services background but this is not essential but the ability to articulate an understanding of a workforce/ deployment function is essential
