Our Oxfordshire based client, a global corporate in the internet, digital & new media space, wishes to appoint a proven 'IT' Business Analyst. To secure this position you will need to have a very strong understanding of software and/or applications development projects by background. It may be that your original career began as a Web or Applications Developer before becoming a Business Analyst.

You will work closely with an applications development team. The team is developing new digital subscription based products for a diverse global customer market. Your core responsibilities will be to bridge the gap between this team and the wider, non IT business community;

- You will focus heavily on users stories; creating user stories and also working closely with a Product Owner and Project Manager to help manage a backlog of user stories;
- You will also gather requirements by means of regular content with diverse business stakeholders, help to define requirements and manage competing requirements; both of the above tasks will help to determine the development teams priorities in terms of features being developed within the product.
- You will also work closely with UX/UI specialists to assist with the development of WireFrames and also Feature Files.
- The team works to Agile methods so ideally your CV will show familiarity with Agile from your recent projects experience.

To secure this role, it is likely that you will have at least 5 years Business Analyst experience, To reiterate, your CV must demonstrate notable involvement in software, applications and/or digital development projects. Furthermore, without demonstrable experience of creating and managing 'user stories' it is likely that your application to this post will not be successful.

Our client favours candidates who have diverse client sector backgrounds, ideally to include a mixture of private and public sector environments. Evidence of global brands/projects experience would be to your advantage as would experience of working for digital/new media and internet type companies.

This position is intended to start in March 2018. The initial duration of contract is 6 months with a strong likelihood of extension.
