My client, a boutique law firm based in Canary Wharf, is about to embark on a series of systems enhancements and implementations. They are recruiting for a Systems Accountant to act as the conduit between Finance and the software suppliers to facilitate all processes.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
*Act as a lead for Finance and work with the software suppliers to identify, test and implement a number of enhancements to Finance, IT and Practice Management systems
*Responsible for resolving any issues to the finance systems
*Ensure that any issues that are due to be resolved are thoroughly evaluated in order to be delivered on time
*Write SQL reports from scratch to satisfy regular requests
*Appraisal of all current systems and solutions, advising where improvements can be made
*Train new users on the systems

Candidate profile:
*Qualified Accountant is preferable but part qualified with the relevant experience won't be discounted
*Experience in the Legal sector highly desirable but not essential. At least some experience in the Professional Services space
*Ability to write SQL scripts from scratch along with Advanced MS Excel essential
*Relevant systems experience desirable - Norwel, Rekoop and Quantum
