Strategic Resourcing Coordinator

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Resourcing Coordinator to join one of our largest Local Authority clients in a temporary assignment for 4 month initially (with every possibility of an extension should the successful candidate perform well).

Based in West London, this is a full time role (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

Main Duties and Responsibilities
1Providing advice and information to management and staff on a range of resourcing issues, such as recruitment and related conditions of service. This involves implementing and interpreting the Council's HR policies and procedures and professional best practice.
2Compiling and maintaining various organisational records; running reports and analyses from databases
3Meeting and communicating with line managers and staff to represent the HR function, in informal and formal settings, as well as by e-mail and phone.
4Drafting letters and reports relating to staffing issues.
5Liaison with external organisations as required. Examples of this are communicating with other employers and contact with the Council's external contractors and Managed Service providers which delivers its HR transactional and payroll service.

Outline Tasks related to main duties and responsibilities
*The role is fairly broad and includes activity in a number of distinct areas:-
*IR35 assessments - receipt, assess, communicate outcome, maintain audit trail
*Agency Staff - facilitate agency worker recruitment (via managed service providers) and assisting hiring managers to use the corporate guidelines effectively.
*Contract management - facilitate and maintain existing, revised and new contracts and procurements related to recruitment. Receive and review contract MI and prepare condensed reports. Liaise with contract managers. Resolve contract queries and assist managers to access and use relevant facilities.
*GDPR - Review and update documents and processes with regard to further ensuring GDPR compliance
*Managed Service for Transactional HR - some involvement in the recruitment aspect of transitioning from the current managed service to a new provider later this year.
*FOI - coordinating the response to recruitment related FOI's, gathering information, preparing a response
