Sales Consultant

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a Sales Consultant to join one of our largest Housing Associations on a permanent basis.

Based in Central London, this is a full time role (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

Purpose of role: To implement and co-ordinate an effective, time responsive and customer orientated sales service to clients.

Key job responsibilities:

*Putting external and internal customers first, understanding their needs and expectations and achieving results.
*Implementing the relevant Sales & Marketing Strategy for all properties
*Ensuring that all homes are sold within the agreed sales period and programme targets are achieved
*Responsible for preparation of sale price lists by calculating rent and service charges for all schemes
*Co-ordinating and attending development launches, property viewings and exhibitions to ensure homes are sold within target dates
*Implementing the Group's Allocation & Selection Policy when selecting applicants
*Work with financial advisors to ensure applicants are able to afford home ownership, are creditworthy and fully understand the concept of the initiative they are undertaking
*Liaising with local authorities as required to ensure that the nomination procedure is effective
*Instructing solicitors on individual sales, issuing Memorandum of Sale to all parties & ensure they are in receipt of all documentation required for the conveyancing process
*Co-ordinating the progress of sales and take action as necessary to ensure sales targets are achieved
*Identifying and resolve problems on property sales and advise buyers and solicitors accordingly
*Managing the legal completion process
*Accountable for the production and analysis of monthly sales forecasting
*Accountable for the production and analysis of statistical reporting to local authorities
*Accountable for the production and analysis of client feedback following development marketing activity
*Liaising with Pre Sales Consultant and Marketing Consultant to ensure accuracy within property marketing literature
*Ensuring that all sales promotion fully complies with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008
*Deputising for the Pre Sales Consultant if necessary by liaising with Regional Development teams on proposed handover dates, attending site meetings and handovers as required
*Liaising with Regional Operations teams to ensure developments are maintained and presented to a high standard during the sales process

Due to the nature of the role, candidates whom have worked as Estate Agents would be suitable for the post.
