An exciting opportunity has emerged for Two Property Sales Negotiators to join one of London's largest Local Authority clients in a temporary role for the next 3 months.

Based in North London, the role involves:

*Negotiating and producing various forms of accommodation in order to either prevent homelessness or to fulfil The Council's statutory duties for eligible clients, at the best price, cost effective and value for money to the Council.
*Sourcing accommodation for the client group that is both suitable and affordable that complies with legislative requirements and preventing legal challenges.
*Providing a supply of private sector rented properties for housing a range of customers in housing need.
*Managing a hot house telephone based service to generate property leads and close deals at affordable renting levels.
*Liaising with landlords and agents, negotiating incentives and rent levels and occasionally viewing properties.
*Sourcing accommodation for the client group that is both suitable and affordable that complies with legislative requirements, preventing legal challenges.
*Ensuring accurate property records are maintained and up to date ready for hand over to Move On Advisers and provide accurate statistics as required.
*Providing information packs to landlords on services available, assisting Landlords in completing any property related administration and keeping accurate records of all landlord contact details.

Whilst previous experience of carrying out the above duties would be useful, it is not essential. The client is keen to recruit people with the right communication and negotiation skills. The ability to sell and build rapport with clients is vital for this post. This is of more importance to the client than anything else.

The client has successfully appointed candidates for this post from an estate agency background recently so candidates with backgrounds in these areas would be ideal, but this is not essential.

Only applicants who feel they meet the above communication skills and are available on short notice need apply.
