Duration:4 months+
Salary:Between £50,000 - £55,000 (per annum)
You will support the Director of Business Services and the Senior Project and Business Lead in implementing a portfolio of IT enabled change projects to ensure that IT services and business systems are fit for purpose. You will work with product owners and business leads to ensure business requirements, project scopes and Statements of Work are clearly defined and resourced appropriately.
*Define and maintain project plans and where needed integrate these within broader programme plans.
*Define, manage and maintain project governance and reporting regimes, considering the audience and adapting format and content to suit whilst continuously applying project management disciplines.
*Define and maintain Risk, Assumption, Issue and Dependency logs and define, manage and implement associated risk mitigations and contingency plans.
*Define, acquire and manage project resources and timely completion of project tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
*Establish and manage the ICT Programme Management Office (PMO) in accordance with the project management methodology and technical approach being used and in accordance with CMA's records management and governance processes.
*Act as IT representative on relevant governance boards and provide the project interface and input into business case development.
Person Specification
*Proven ability of successfully managing and delivering multiple IT projects, using both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
*Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate technical information to stakeholders and technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
*Evidence of working as part of a team and the ability to supervise and motivate colleagues at all levels to ensure constructive use of everyone's experience and time.
*Good understanding of and exposure to some or all of corporate business systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), case management, forensics, intelligence and analytics and of Costed Off The Shelf (COTS) and Cloud applications and Software as a Service (SaaS)/solutions.
Essential qualification PRINCE2, APM, MSP or other recognised project management qualifications, ie: Scrum Master or Agile Project Management.
