Procurement Administrator

An exciting opportunity has become available within a well established public sector organisation based in the Buckinghamshire region. The employers are currently looking for an individual on a fixed term contract basis to work in a fast paced organisation as a Procurement Administrator, reporting to the manager of the procurement department. This is a great opening for the right person to work in a professional environment with an employer who has an excellent reputation.

The successful candidate will be supporting the Procurement Manager in the delivery and development of effective and flexible procurement processes, functions and service across the organisation and will demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, encouraging continuous improvement through close collaboration, innovation to successful conclusion.

The required individual with have:

*2 'A' levels or equivalent qualifications.
*Experience of working in a procurement or finance team.
*Current practical knowledge of public procurement regulations and related legislation (Uk/EU/OJEU).
*Commercial appraisal skills including whole life costing methods and value for money studies.
*Contract negotiation and management.
*Broad commercial mind-set developed from experience working in both the public and private sectors.
*Ability to present findings and maintain financial tracking for savings achieved.
*Excellent communication and written skills.
*Excellent organisational and Administrative skills
*Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel


The available role is a full time position with 37 hours per week and a 12 month fixed term contract.
